Hi, I’m Pablo — SDI Open Water instructor based in Playa del Carmen.

I guide dives across Playa, Cozumel and cenotes, working with trusted local operators while keeping every experience personal, safe and well-paced.

Whether it’s your first dive or your hundredth, my goal is simple: for you to feel comfortable in the water and leave with something unforgettable.

Hi, I’m Pablo — independent SDI Open Water instructor and freelance photographer based in Playa del Carmen.

I guide dives across Playa, Cozumel and the wonderful cenotes around the Riviera Maya, working with trusted local operators while keeping every experience personal, safe and well-paced.

Whether it’s your first dive or your hundredth, my goal is simple: for you to feel comfortable in the water and leave with something unforgettable.

Select your date, add any extras, and complete your booking securely.


03 personal confirmation

After booking, I’ll contact you directly to confirm details and introduce myself.


04 dive

Everything is organized in advance — just show up and enjoy the experience.


05 end the day right

If you’re up for it, we can grab a bite nearby and wrap up the day properly.

A few common questions to help you plan your dive with clarity.

  • For most dives, yes — you’ll need an Open Water certification or higher. If you’re not certified, you can still join a Discover Scuba Diving experience.

  • I guide dives in Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, cenotes, and seasonal bull shark encounters (November–March). Each location offers a very different type of experience.

  • The easiest way to book is through the website by selecting your date, time and any add-ons. Once payment is completed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details. You can also book by contacting me directly.

  • Yes, full equipment is available if needed, but it is always recommended to bring your own if you have it, plus we offer a special discount for all divers who bring their own gear.

  • I operate independently and collaborate with trusted local dive centers and boat operators depending on the dive. This allows me to choose the best setup for each experience.

  • Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance, or in case of port closure due to weather conditions and we’re unable to reschedule.
